Ladies Day Out
This will be a day full of adventure for women of all ages. What’s better than making wonderful memories with those who mean the most? Bring your mother, daughter, aunt, niece, grandmother, a special neighbor or friend and let’s head out for a day of fun!
Our first stop will be for brunch at One Love Café in Granville, OH. This is a unique café equipped for large groups. Enjoy the delicious breakfast sandwiches, along with sides. PLUS everyone gets to order a custom coffee drink, smoothie, cappuccino, or tea! After brunch we’ll get to shop at Sister Salvage & Soles, as well as Cedar & Thread. These shops are within walking distance.
We’ll head to our next destination at Timbuck Farms. The farm & garden center are owned by Jim Gibson. They have things going each season of the year. We are hoping to be in time to see their field of 500,000 tulips. You will also have time to shop in their garden center.
Our next stop will be at Ohio Stoneware in Zanesville, Ohio. There will be time for a tour, shopping, & a “Make it Take It” mug, where you get to choose a hand-painted traditional mug (cost included) with your own hot chocolate concoction. Ohio Stoneware is one of America's last remaining commercial pottery manufacturers. Their current product line carries well over two hundred items. Their pieces are fired at approximately 2,200 degrees, and are processed through a kiln cycle (which, heats and cools) for roughly 18 hours. Their glazes are second to none and will withstand the rigors of daily use for many, many years.
There’s a supper stop included before we head home with sweet memories of a day spend together.
